Hello everyone! Paula’s first official day of deliveries arrived, so she and her fellow rookies are going through her last day of essential training. I took inspiration from personal anecdote, the broken nose Weasel mentions. When I was 16 (I used to train taekwondo) I accidentally broke my training partner’s nose with a kick, she understood it was an accident but she still reminds me of it 😛

After a year and a half, Paula decided to go visit her old friends and former parkour crew “The Geckos”. Seeing that half of her old friends is not even there anymore, she decides to leave, but before she does, she’s intercepted by her ex, with who she hasn’t talked since Paula discovered he cheated on her. Now, after facing him with her version of that happened, Paula listens to his reply and finds out what happened with his two missing friends, ignoring that “the Geckos” have been working to become more than just a casual parkour crew.

The time has come for Paula to recall that wound from her past, the origin of her current insecurities and her need to constantly prove her worth. Deep inside, Paula feels that if she’s not good enough, the people around her will always prefer someone else and won’t hesitate to replace her. Hopefully her next adventures will teach her to embrace her imperfection and what makes her unique.

Today is a special day for me. Today is the first anniversary of Lost Freaks, my very own universe, story, characters and art. A lot of things have happened since I first started posting, but I’m just as excited as the first day. It’s always a pleasure to finish an episode, but today it’s even more so. Thanks to everyone for reading and for your kind comments, you really brighten my days.

I finally finished episode 14! I apologize for the delay, attending Pixelatl took a week from my schedule. This time we accompany Paula to her first day at Kunai Express so we see a lot of new faces. In the next episode we’re going to learn a bit more about Kunai Express and we’ll be wrapping up the first part of the story. A new adventure for Paula and her friends is about to begin.

After quitting Blast Media, Paula visits Mirabelle in an attempt to vent while she puts together one of her main tools in her upcoming adventures. Meanwhile Bertha and Titus meet with their fixer: Zeddit, with whom they’ve been working for years. This time we get a glimpse of what’s happening in the shadows surrounding Kunai Express, and how others intent to use them for their own purposes.

The dog returns!! and this time it has new tricks. After it’s encounter with Paula, it learnt that in order to eat, it would have to get creative, and it seems like it’s working. The delivery girl’s name is Alice, and we’ll get to learn a bit more about here further on. For now, let’s just say she’s a pro and one of the best parkour athletes in town.

The time has come! Paula just quit Blast Media, but it’s not going to be that easy. A confrontation with Angela is imminent and Paula will rediscover a wound from her past she’ll have to face if she ever wants to get rid of her need to prove herself to others. This is a slightly longer episode because I wanted to wrap this part of the story in a single episode so I don’t have to make you all wait.
